A little about me…

I’ve worked in print, audio and video journalism. I’ve had a brief stint as a travel journalist, covered local and breaking news, politics, and longer-form human interest stories.

If you want a glimpse into my storytelling methods - my most memorable story occurred when I took a fourteen hour car ride to a small village in Ghana, where I spoke locals about how they used a composting method to transform their farming, land and health. It was an audio story so I had to get way too close to the back-end of an ox to capture the sound of a plough.

I’ve traveled to more than 30 countries, have lived in four of them and covered topics from Iceland’s best waterfalls to the pro-Palestinian encampments in Ottawa and medical assistance in dying in Canada.

You can catch a glimpse of my work in The Globe and Mail, CBC, The Ottawa Citizen, Iceland Review, and Farm Radio International.
